The Drive on MWTV 2-8-16

Hello again everyone and thanks for watching The Drive on MWTV. I’m Chris Woody.

Well we all know what this time of year it is at M&W… it’s cookie time.

“He’s about to take all the delicious yummy cookies, and put them over with the other cookies.”

Last month we had an unofficial visit from a very special girl scout to make sure we were handling and storing all of the cookies she sold with care.

“Well, we can’t see through the boxes but otherwise I would say these are in pretty good hands.”

And we were glad we could take care of all those cookies until distribution day at Nissan Stadium. In our over 25 years of warehousing and distribution M&W continues to be a proud partner with the girl scouts in getting all of these cookies out to troops across all of middle Tennessee.

“M&W is a great partner for us I mean the cookie season starts with cookies being held in your warehouses. I mean we really wouldn’t be able to have a successful season without a partner like M&W.”

And if you didn’t get your order in this year it’s not too late. Troops will be selling cookies in booths outside a local business near you.

So we’d like to say thank you to Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee for partnering with us all these years. Also, a big thank you to the warehouse staff and drivers who are putting in lots of extra hours to make sure the job gets done right.

And one other bit of M&W news, Mike Wamble from Aflac will be here at the terminal Friday February 12th, Monday February 15th, and Monday February 22nd. If you are interested in learning more about short term disability insurance, hospital insurance, and all the other products Aflac has to offer, please take a few minutes to talk with Mike. As a convenience to our drivers, M&W and Aflac have partnered to make premiums paid through payroll deduction. Mike will be in B-building from 9am to 5pm, and once again, that’s on February 12th, 15th, and 22nd.

Well that’s it for this edition of The Drive on MWTV. I’m Chris Woody. Thanks for watching, stay safe out there, and keep on truckin’.
