This week the gang has Viva Price into the studio. Viva Price was reared in Chattanooga, and is a self-proclaimed VOL For Life. She earned her B.A. in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has devoted the last decade to childhood injury prevention, adolescent health, youth development, and building community partnerships to strengthen families. Her work in public health and social service landed her in Knoxville, Boston, and Atlanta, but she and her daughter Eva are glad to have planted their roots and call Nashville home. She started her work with Youth Encouragement Services at the beginning of 2018 and feels honored to have been welcomed into the YES family. Viva says her personal mission is rooted in Proverbs 31: 8-9. You will often find her smiling and trumpeting her favorite Bible verse, “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again, I say Rejoice!”
