Buc-ee’s

Known for their famous beaver mascot, cheap snacks, and great souvenirs, the Texas based chain Buc-ee’s has been rapidly expanding across the country. Their location in Crossville which opened June 27, 2022, marked their first location in Tennessee. It’s conveniently situated off exit 320 on Interstate 40 on the plateau between Knoxville and Nashville. While they don’t allow you to sleep there overnight, it’s still a great place to make a stop for their clean bathrooms, large amount of food choices, and countless fuel pumps. They’re also slated to open a new location off exit 407 in Sevierville in the summer of 2023.

Love’s

Founded in 1964 and headquartered in Oklahoma City, Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores now has more than 590 locations in 42 states. They’re specifically tailored to truck drivers and motorists as they provide 24-hour access to purchasing gasoline, snacks, and more. While they’re already located throughout a variety of cities across Tennessee, they recently opened a new location in Newport, Tennessee back in March of this year. Located at 1129 Smokey Mountain Lane off of I-40, the truck stop features 70 truck parking spaces, seven showers, a dog park, CAT scale, and more.

Casey’s

Starting off as a general store in Boone, Iowa in 1968, Casey’s is now a truck stop with 2,400 store locations across 16 states. At the end of 2020, the company went under a full rebranding which included taking over ownership of Pilot gas stations – not including their truck stops. This led to them acquiring over 40 locations in Tennessee and Kentucky with plans to add 345 stores across the country by 2023. Their truck stops include 20 parking spaces, five diesel lanes, two showers, internet access and more.
